Sharad Bhise brings with him 25 years of SME experience and has a 360-degree view of working in Risk Management, Credit Appraisal and Monitoring, Relationship Management, Portfolio Management, Collection and Recovery.
Sharad began his career with Asian Paints as a Chemical Engineer before moving to Banking and Finance post an MBA.
Sharad’s spent seven years with SIDBI where he developed a deep understanding of the workings of SME Businesses.. He then worked in the SME domain with Standard Chartered Bank, IndusInd Bank, Kotak Mahindra Bank and Yes Bank where he was known for his sound credit-underwriting skills and relationship management. His responsibilities largely centered around credit process improvements, audit, and collections. His experience spans credit appraisals of business ranging from startups to well established small and medium enterprises and from regular working capital financing to detailed due diligence for turnkey projects.
Sharad’s last assignment was with Yes Bank as Executive Vice President handling the SME Business for South India, where the portfolio that he had under-written / managed had an impeccable track of performance.
Sharad has a Bachelors degree in Chemical Engineering from UDCT, Mumbai and has done his MBA Finance from Jamnalal Bajaj Institute of Management Studies (JBIMS), Mumbai.
