Yashwanth is a dynamic financial services professional with strong expertise across Banking and NBFC ecosystems, with a focused understanding of the Corporate–SME landscape.
He began his trade finance journey with Yes Bank, where he worked as a Trade Specialist managing Corporate and SME clients. During his tenure, he handled a comprehensive suite of trade products including Letters of Credit (LC), Bank Guarantees (BG), Import & Export Finance, Bill Discounting, and Supply Chain Finance. His role involved closely working with business owners and finance teams to structure efficient working capital solutions aligned with business cash-flow cycles.
For the past three years, Yashwanth has been serving as Assistant Vice President (AVP) at SME Intellect Growth Capital Pvt. Ltd., overseeing business operations across the Chennai and Trichy clusters. He drives business development, portfolio quality, and team performance across Corporate SME clients, and also drives branch productivity with allied retail products viz. Commercial Vehicle (CV), cars, and Construction Equipment (CE).
With a balanced blend of trade finance expertise and on-ground NBFC leadership experience, Yashwanth brings a practical, growth-oriented, and risk-disciplined approach to serving the evolving needs of the Corporate–SME ecosystem.
